John is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in Kansas and Missouri. He has been with D.W. Newcomer's Sons for 27 years and Director of Operations since 2003. John is a member of Church of the Resurrection United Methodist Church and enjoys traveling and antiquing.

Jerry graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1971 and obtained his degree in Mortuary Science from Gupton College in Nashville, TN in 1972. He has been with D.W. Newcomer's for 40 years. He is a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, the Suicide Awareness Survivors Support Board and was past president of Research Mental Health Services Foundation Board. Jerry and wife Judy, have three children and six grandchildren.
